Mark Quandahl is a Maintenance Supervisor for Solairus Aviation based at Chicago's Midway Airport. A 1992 graduate of Hawkeye Community College earning FAA Airframe / Powerplant license and Associate of Applied Science degree. He was employed as a Technician Assistant and Line Service Rep at Sweiter Aircraft in Waterloo, IA while attending Hawkeye where he allos obtained his private pilot license. Mark’s first full time A&P position involved inspection, repairs and alterations made during DC-3 turbo prop conversions at Baslers Oshkosh, WI. He gained extensive jet maintenance experience at KC Aviation Appleton, WI and Westfield MA. He moved to Chicago in 1998 as a Field Service Representative for Dassault Falcon Jet. From 2000 to 2013 Mark was a Lead Technician, International Flight Engineer, and Repair Station Repairman working on a several Falcon and Gulfstream models at Motorola’s corporate flight department. Mark is an active member of the Gulfstream Large Cabin Sustaining MSG3 Industry Steering Committee. In 2013 he formed the CABAA Maintenance Committee. Mr. Quandahl is CABAA's Membership Committee Chair and an active member of the Maintenance and Steering / Outreach Committees.
