President

Eric Warning - Boeing Executive Flight Operations

Director term expires 2026

CABAA Communication and Safety Committee Member since 2017, Eric was fortunate to join Boeing in 2006 as a pilot for Executive Flight Operations. Eric is currently Assistant Chief Pilot of Standards supporting pilots, flight attendants and aircraft operations in addition to maintaining currency as an International Captain on both the BBJ and Challenger 650. CABAA has provided Eric with many networking and mentoring opportunities during the last several years and believes his time working with CABAA has been foundational to shaping the business aviation professional he aspires to become.

Josh Hernandez - Abbott Laboratories

Director term expires 2025

Josh graduated from Quincy University in 2017 with a Bachelors in Aviation Management. After graduation he worked line service while working on his ratings. Josh was able to network his way into a PC12 as an intern for a private owner in the area. It was here where he got his first hands on experience with flying corporate aircraft. After obtaining his Commercial and Multi Engine ratings, Josh did the same for another operator in the area flying a King Air 90. After a few other time building jobs, he got hired at Aero Charter, inc out of Spirit of Saint Louis Airport (SUS). He worked there for about two years flying the XLS+, King Air 350, PC12 and CJ2. Josh is now a Captain at Abbott Laboratories and is excited to be back in the Chicago area.

Chris Kozicki - B. Coleman Aviation

Director term expires 2024

Chris Kozicki is Vice President of FBO operations at B. Coleman Aviation located at the Gary Chicago International Airport. Prior to this, Chris served in numerous executive positions in government at the City of Chicago and worked on several transportation and planning initiatives. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business from DePaul University. He served as the 116th President of the Irish Fellowship Club of Chicago and set a record by raising over $300,000 for scholarships to local area Catholic High Schools. Kozicki manages the day-to-day operations of the FBO. He was instrumental in winning the UPS fuel contract at GYY. He was a member of the team that led B. Coleman Aviation becoming DASSP approved and able to handle International garbage for customs flights. He completed the company's transition to IS-BAO and IS-BAH standards developing an enterprise-wide SMS. He is the companies NATA certified FBO safety manager. He implemented the relationship with Signature Flight Support as a new Signature Select location. He also works with local nonprofit groups like the Young Eagles, Aerostars, and Tuskegee Airmen to facilitate fundraising events. Chris currently serves as Chairman of the CABAA Government Affairs Committee.

Mary Shad - Northern Jet Management

Director term expires 2026

Mary has been in private aviation for 18 years. She is a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and Lewis University with degrees in Professional Aeronautics and Aviation Management. Mary began her career in Fixed Base Operations in Florida where she served as a Customer Service Supervisor and Line Technician. At that time she also worked in Flight Operations for a small aircraft management and charter company specializing in Bahamian flights. Mary has held positions in Flight Operations with various Chicago based companies before accepting a position as the Flight Operations Manager for Grand Rapids, MI based Northern Jet Management (NJM). Still with Northern Jet Management, Mary is Chicago DPA-based and now holds the position of Director of Client Experience. Mary aligns NJM for success by overseeing client accounts and ensuring all organizational personnel and service lines are poised to deliver upon expected returns for NJM clientele. Mary is actively involved with Lewis University for Career Development.
